Dealing with PPE crisis!

As we face the Coronavirus pandemic, Hospice caregivers are beyond frustrated with the lack of PPE and the inability to care for our most vulnerable Americans properly. Our team is committed to serving our community and have made numerous attempts to acquire much-needed PPE for our team members. We are working diligently to diminish the scarcity of protective gear with daily emails and correspondence with our local government officials and the Healthcare Coalition for our region. Arcturus Hospice is a member of NHPCO, and our company continues to thrive for the best care for our patients and families. We will continue to work with NHPCO along with the Hospice action network (HAN) to keep advocating for our patients and families. Arcturus Hospice’s primary focus is to continue to provide the best care for our patient population regardless of their COVID-19 status. We believe in our calling to serve humanity, as well as our ability to deliver the best possible care despite our current challenges.

Arcturus Director of Operations Petergay Dunkley-Mullings gave an interview on the subject on About Thrive. Connect. Contribute. We hope you have a moment to check it out!
